About Me

HI, FANCY SEEING YOU HERE

I’m Jessica! Or just Jess, for short. I’m a 27 year-old from the dairy land just making my way downtown, walking fast through adulthood. I’m a marketing professional by trade and kindergartener meets suburban soccer mom meets cat lady by heart. You get the gist?

I grew up in central Wisconsin and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I meannnn… Culver’s, Kwik Trip, Summerfest, and da Packers…MIDWEST IS BEST. Don’t fight me on it.

Aside from growing up in the best state in the nation, I’m lucky to have also attended college in the same beautiful place. Through my four years, I struggled with anxiety and began taking antidepressants regularly. While my mental health has been a personal project on my own, it has allowed me to connect with so many people and open up about my experiences as well. You can read more by checking out the “Mental Health” tab.

In 2016, I graduated with my associate’s degree in Applied Arts and Science before shipping myself off to central Wisconsin to complete my bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, and Business Administration.

Speaking of college, those student loans won’t be disappearing anytime soon, so I’m currently living the dream working in our state’s Brew City. Every day is different and exciting, I thrive off being a busy bee.

Apart from the werk life, I have committed much of my personal time to pursuing some pretty big dreams and mentoring other women along the way.

For five years, I competed in the Miss America Organization, which led to a place in the final two at Miss Wisconsin 2018. Since then, I’ve transitioned to the volunteer side of MAO while competing in the Miss USA Organization, placing 3rd runner-up in 2023. I’m proud to be part of two empowering organizations that align with my mission to be a leader for young women worldwide.

Check out the “Pageant” tab to read more about my involvement, because I can guarantee that there’s SO MUCH more to it than smiling and waving.

If I have an ounce of free time left in my days, I spend it reading, painting, binge-watching all the corners of Netflix, hanging out with my many rescue pets (including a toothless pitbull and 3-foot python), surfing for inspiration, sharing time with my family and friends, and scrolling through social media (it’s not an addiction, it’s my job, I promise).

P.S. If you or your brand need to get your game on, I can help make that happen, too. Think logo design, resume design, digital marketing materials, social media templates, etc. Shoot me a message below.
